CRAZY CARL: THE BLOODSUCKERS'S NEST 2

 Teddy's head was spinning. he looked around, water? Should he spread water over the monster? even if it didn't diweapon Olaf the vamp, it would at least distract him. But where was water? And then Teddy remembered, he had seen a brocken pipe when he had entered. Where? And then he saw the pipe, he only nedded a sharp weapon.......
 Teddy struck, till now the vampire Olaf had reached Teddy and was trying to pierce the dagger, and that was when Teddy kicked the vamp's hand, the dagger fell, Teddy raced towards the pipe and pirced the dagger in it. A force of water sprayed in every direction, Olaf's machinery came in contact with water and was out of control. Olaf began to dance. he fell into pool of water.
 Teddy wasted no time, he unlocked the door and was in a dark room, the water gushed out in the room like a river. Teddy saw a camera and suddenly two fake boomrangs shot towards Teddy. And then a really scary voice called out, 'you killed my son!! NOW YOU WILL PAY!' and a figure in white saree came out of a wall. This time Teddy was scared, he didn't show it, but his eyes widened as he looked at the woman. the woman stopped; her eyes were blood red and ditto with her lips. She had her hairs over her face and Teddy was flabbergasted to see her legs were in opposite direction.
 Outside even Carl shuddered as he saw the woman on the camera's. 'This would surely freak the bully out' Rick commented.

The question is, will it? you will have to read next time to know it.     

BOOKS IN 2010. PART 1

  I am really sorry because i could not write crazy Carl next Sunday because my xams are starting. To make for it i will write on the 31 first. Anyway i am writing this one to tell you about the coming books in 2010.

2009 was a year for graphic novels and popular authors like Dan Brown, Stephenie Meyer, Chetan Bhagat. 2010 will bring more books by other authors. in a range of non fiction, fiction and childrean alike.
 we will start with the debutants in fiction category:

  Homeboy by H M Naqvi is a book about a young Pakistani in post 9/11 period. We have seen many writers writing in post 9/11 as background. Maybe it's a good and easy catch for writers but I personally think it's lot boring when authors are stuck on the same thing. Serious Men by Manu Joseph is set in Mumbai which is also an usual an usual place. Sarita Mandanna's Tiger Hills is set in Coorg (a city or maybe an town, village in India, who cares!) which is a romantic saga, goof off! i don't care a damn about romance thingy, and so i don't care to touch this book. Then comes Saraswati Park by someone called Anjali Joseph (sister of Manu Joseph?) which focuses on middle Mumbai, again Mumbai!

well, sorry have to go. I will continue tommorow. Bye.      

CRAZY CARL: THE BLOODSUCKER'S NEST

Hello all, i had nearly forgotten to write on on this Sunday, until my dear dad said 'i think you were supposed to write on Sunday's and you have aldready missed one Sunday so you ought to write this Sunday' and here i am writing from my brother's place that is out of town, so i am writing on my father's laptop. and yes i hope you all have enjoyed your chrismas, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!in advance so now we shall move towards our continuing crazy Carl.

Teddy had got a treatment of mud and dog poop, but he was still moving towards the second door. A red board on the door read: beware, BLOODSUCKER. Teddy grunted,  he was still being fired at, but it didn't mattered now. He opened the door and saw a dirty room. Spider web's were too much to count and spider's were crawling around the web's. Teddy shuddered, he swallowed and then saw the next door, but then he saw a coffin, which suddenly opened (of course, remote controlled by Rick) Teddy backed, he knew this was one of the freaky thing like other's but it almost looked real, what he saw was a tall man, blood was spilled on his black cloak. his teeth were K9 coming out like a vampire, and he was really a vampire. And his teeth were no plastic thing, they were from Rick's dad's tooth collection, they were tiger's teeth. Rick was controlling the vamp from outside. the vamp came out of the coffin and suddenly a voice boomed 'this is my son, Olaf. Olaf, show this little punk what you can do heeeeee!' this was the witch. the voice as i wrote was from a recorder and this voice was not from any movie but it was given by Rick's sister Sassy.
  Olaf the vamp moved and took out what looked like a dagger. Teddy was nearly freaked out, but then he had a fresh dose of courage and he began making his plan to move next door, whatever it costs.
  Teddy kicked the vamp and a second later, he was holding his leg because the vamp was made of metal, so no chance of breaking him like the knight. so what can he do? the vamp moved closer and Teddy dodged him by moving on his right side. The weapon of the vamp were his two teeth and the dagger, so Teddy had to disweapon him. but how?

SPYCY BOOKS

SPYCY books that is spy books are now becoming famous day by day. Earlier it was only James Bond who would be titled as spy. but now one of the famous spy: Alex Rider is becoming famous. Anthony Horowitz is the author. If you are following my reviews of the books then you could have remembered it's the same wonderful author of the diamond brothers series. But this time there are not much jokes, even so the books are a wonder. 
  Alex Rider books are so full of action and stunts, you feel like you are watching a movie. Alex, is a fourteen year old teenager who is leading a normal life till a tradegy strucks him: Ian Rider, his uncle is killed in an accident, well thats what Alex is told. But when Alex is dragged by MI6 an British secret agency, he knows the truth: Ian Rider was murdered while he was driving his car. Alex is made a teenage spy and is sent to train with SAS. There he meets some bullies and as he gets out of traning, he is sent on a mission. 
 This starts the first part: SROMBREAKER. Followed by more seven into the series, in which part by part you dicover the famaily of Alex. An gripping novel, which at one page you think 'all is well' and as you turn it it catches your breathe. With every page there is suspence and if on one page Alex is shown to be happy, you can't believe he will be happy the next page. and i really think you should buy the parts.
 As for the ratings i will give it 5 out of 5! and if you have aldready bought a copy of the young James Bond series, then be ready to be bored and you may think you were an idiot to buy it. Well, i have just read the first part by Charlie Higson, i hope the second would be good. As for now buy ALEX RIDER!!!!!!!!    

RICK'S HAUNTED HOUSE 3 : IN THE LINE OF FIRE

As Teddy went rolling down the stairs the knight gave another blow on Teddy's head. Teddy hit on the ground floor with a thud. he got up and with his red eyes looked up
"ye are gone!" he shouted and raced upwards like an angry bull. the knight, which was controlled by Rick, aimed another blow but this time Teddy was ready, he grabbed the sword which was made of metal and kicked the knight and then took out all of it's machinery. Rick soon knew that his knight was chopped to pieces. the cameras showed Teddy kicking the knight, siting on him and throwing it's machines in every direction. soon the floor was littered with wires, motors and things. Carl watched, flabbergasted. he was thinking what would be appropriate to freak Teddy out. Teddy was just doesn't giving up!
Teddy moved towards the door on the second floor. and as he opened the door, a pack of darts came racing towards his face, Teddy ducked and the darts went above him. Teddy grinned, "is that all you have got? Ricky baby?" he said and set a step inside, and another pack of darts raced towards him, this time two hit him on his face, the darts were specially covered in mud and dog poop so that when they will hit Teddy he will be covered in it. and now Teddy was being fired from all the sides, he tried to run but he was in the line of fire.... Of darts.
Teddy could see the door, but then an dart got straight into his mouth, "argggggggggggh!" he shouted. and then Teddy fell. Outside Rick was enjoying himself, he was jumping and teasing the Teddy gang.
"Look at your boss! what a shame!" he was saying and then got a nice beating, but anyway he was hopping like a mad person.
Inside Teddy was going really mad, he had grabbed himself a piece of wood from a broken table and was blowing the darts away, shooting them in air like a cricket bat. and slowly moving towards the door........


   

RICK'S HAUNTED HOUSE 2

..... the figure's hand came down, Teddy made his movement: he rolled. And the figure missed.
"Who is this crap?" Teddy shouted and kicked the figure, the figure was actually a electronic statue carrying a fake dagger, and as Teddy kicked it, it fell and broke into pieces. outside, Rick eat his fingers "that was given to me by my father from his collection, you bull!" he shouted.
  Teddy moved forwards, towards the long dusty staircase towards the second floor of the house. and then the witch's voice spoke: "come..... come to me! i will make your soup! delicious! man soup, heeee!" Teddy stood over one of the stairs. he was petrified, but then came over his fear "go hell with it!" he said. and moved on, the statue of the knight in front of him moved. the knight took out a long sword and began moving it, Teddy moved forwards. he knew that this was some kind of another statue, but then the knight sliced his sword and gave a blow it on Teddy's arm, and blood flowed out of it. it was a simple movie trick: there was a balloon attached to the sword, which was attached so that Teddy couldn't see it and so as the balloon part of the sword which was filled with red water hit Teddy's arm and it would burst and the red water will flow out of it on Teddy's hand which would look as blood. Teddy looked at his hand with horror. outside, Rick grinned. the knight, was a remote controlled machine, it was a marvel how Rick had done it. but then the knight rotated the sword again, controlled by Rick outside enjoying, but then Teddy slipped from the stair and began falling from the stairs, down........

What is in the bag for Teddy? will he surrender? or will he continue?
               

FREAK THE BULLY: RICK'S HAUNTED HOUSE

It was the next Sunday, and it was Rick who was first going to try freaking Teddy. the morning was stormy and Rick had planned to freak Teddy by scaring him with the haunted house, which actually was of Mr. Khan, who was a retired army officer but had died a couple of months ago.
   the house was not really haunted, but as Rick was good at making gadgets he had made some great arrangements, such as: he had fitted a recorder on the first floor which would talk like a witch, Rick thought it would scare the wits out of Teddy. Rick had recorded the voice in his recorder from a scary movie. then he had fitted a projector, which would show the film of a lady in white saree and green eyes and long hairs coming towards Teddy. then he had a machine by which he had made some zombies come out of sand on the ground, the zombies were only some statues. then there were fake boomerangs fitted on every floor and once you step on particular place they would shoot at you. and many such things were fitted. there were also cameras fitted on every floor so that everyone can see the action going on inside. Crazy Carl and others arrived, Rick was already there. Teddy grinned at him
"Boy, you are going to clean toilets! yes you are! i am not getting scared by a haunted house!" said Teddy.
"We will see that" said Rick. Teddy cracked his fists and began walking towards the house. the gates creaked open, Teddy looked back smiled and went forwards. as soon as he went three steps in, two arrows shot at him. Teddy crouched, the arrows hit the gate and fell. the bet was Teddy should cross the whole house, that is including the floors. Teddy crushed the other two arrows in his hands and looked at Rick, who was still calm.Teddy then went inside the house. the camera on ground floor showed his image, Teddy came in and suddenly some spider webs with spiders on them were shot at Teddy, the spiders were real but Teddy didn't seemed to be affected, he stamped the spiders under his heavy foot, gosh! sorry for the spiders. and then an dark image was seen on the camera, it moved towards Teddy- with a knife, Teddy looked at it, for sometime horror was depicted on his face then he tried to catch the hand of the figure but he was not able to, if he came out running, Rick would win the challenge. The figure moved it's hand up to stab Teddy............
What would happen? can Teddy save himself or he will come out of the house. freaked and Rick would win the challenge? find it out next Sunday.           

CRAZY CARL: FREAK THE BULLY

Hello, a hundred and one apologies, i wasn't able to write the last Sunday. i was really busy and forgot all about Crazy Carl.i didn't really write the last to last Sunday in detail and i promised you i will.

As i told you the last time, it was last day of the school and Carl was snoring, Rick was listening (to the teacher not the snoring) after the bell rang Teddy, the school bully, in his regular jeans which was torn and a brown jacket with 'i don't fear anything' on it came into the corridor, he was walking like his father had owned up the whole school. and he was shouting "i don't fear anyone! i don't! who can freak me? the answers only one! no one! haaa!" Carl laughed at him which annoyed Teddy "what you freak? can you freak me out?" the bully asked. Carl was ready for this, he knew Teddy liked to give challenges,
"yeah, i know i can freak you, but my demand is Rick, should also participate in, the one who wins, will get two free hot dogs" insisted Carl, Rick, who was beside Carl stared at him angrily, but he didn't wanted to show that he was not accepting the challenge infront of the whole crowd of students, so he accepted the challenge anyway.
"ye two think ye can freak me? you are mad! now if i win you will have to clean the toilet for one whole week" said Teddy. and so the challenge was placed. read the next Sunday, how Carl and Rick try to freak Teddy out.           

 

This post has nothing to do with books or writing, but i felt i should write it. the whole of the world knows what happened in Mumbai on this unfortunate day, ten heavily armed terrorists attacked Mumbai on several sensitive places such as: CST station, The Taj and Oberoi hotels and the Nariman House. the attacked killed more than 175 people  injuring more than 300. it was Wednesday and the day was going as normal as it could be. my parents had a call at around 1:30 in the night from a relative saying that firing had taken place on several places and that the schools will be closed tomorrow. my parents turned on the television where on every possible news channel, only one picture was seen: Taj, the five star hotel was on fire, four of ten merciless terrorists had taken the Taj hostage. and they were in search of tourists. Firing indiscriminately at the Leopold Cafe two had stormed in at lobby while the other two were waiting in silence then the four assembled in lobby and began their bloody rampage. It was late in the morning that i woke up clueless of the happenings around the city. i was puzzled because i wasn't sent to school and so i came into the hall where i asked my father the reason and he just gave me the morning's newspaper where i saw a man in a weird position, i didn't saw the gun in his hand or the hate on his face. i was puzzled that an ordinary man's picture was in newspaper but then i saw the gun and slowly the picture became clear my first reaction was 'why is he moving around with a AK- 47?' and that name of gun made it more clear, he was a terrorist, a terrorist moving around to kill. then my father told me that several places were attacked and i swithched on the television where for next 60 hours constant gunfire was heard.

my questions were 'what was the police doing? and the army, didn't the army men gundown the terrorists? why NSG (NATIONAL SEQURITY GUARDS) was needed? isn't the army brave?' those questions had no answers. today on 26/11/09 the attacks will complete its first anniversary, but the questions have still got no answers, nothing has changed only the arrested gunman Kasab, the young 'boy' in newspaper  is leading, maybe a comfortable life in jail, no decision is taken even after so many people saw him firing at innocent people. we have lost no one in the attack but we shed tears for those who have because we support each other and this is the unity on India, the unity of Mumbai. and we hope that no city in India or any other country face such a attack, and we should confront the bloody terrorists, Mumbai can't stop just because ten fanatics came and took her hostage but this is what we call spirit of Mumbai.                                    

Crazy Carl: episode one: FREAK THE BULLY

THIS IS THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE CRAZY CARL SERIES.

It was the last day of school and Crazy Carl was as usual sleeping while the teacher was giving a lecture on what to do and what not to do in the holiday's. Ridiculous Rick was listening eagerly. the teacher was boring the students to death. Rick was a intelligent boy with clean neat hairs and spectacles over his crooked nose. while Carl was like being in completely different world. Shabby hairs and utterly mischievous, dumbest boy in the class. the bell rang. students ran out and Carl joined his gang.
The school bully, Teddy entered into the passage with his fat bully gang.
"i fear no one!" he was shouting.
Let me tell you about Rick Carl rivalry: it started when Carl peed on Rick and Rick pooped on Carl. Carl liked to give challenges to Rick and like him see loose. and so Carl took the opportunity and asked Rick "Well, Rick can you freak Teddy out?" Rick looked at Carl and said "are you challenging me?" "yes" said Carl.
"well, then i will accept the challenge" said Rick.

Hello, i am writing to inform you about a new theme which i am going to write on my blog. the theme is that i will write about a particular character every Sunday.
That is, a series of the character which is:Crazy Carl.
Carl is a mischievous boy who is the rival of an intelligent fella named the Ridiculous Rick. now this series is about the fighting they do and the problems they face.
both the boys have their gangs. Carl's gang consist of: Nutty Nick,, Mad Mat and Idiot Ian. Rick's gang: Jerky James, Stupid Sam and Punky Phil. Rick and his gang is a rather intelligent gang. they make machines and all types of electronic gadgets while Carl's gang thinks of worms on opponents head and mud in his mouth and- you know what all ugly things.
so both, Carl and Rick are battling over only one thing: Carl peed on Rick when both were three and then Rick pooped on Carl, they are not going to do such things now....... but more worse! find out what by reading the episodes of crazy Carl every Sunday.
tell me if i should write it or not.

I read THE BOOK: The Magic Store Of Nu-Cham-Vu. it was a good story. though the book was for smaller children than me, i enjoyed reading it. i will confess, though, it was a bit boring in between and can force you to put it down. i tried to read further and surprisingly it was good! it only consists of 132 pages and i finished it the day i bought it, even so i had heard that it was a good book and so i picked up a copy. another confession: yes it was not worth the price it was (175!) but you have to try different books, you know. but i dare say that though there were only three stories they were completely unusual which impressed me the most.
i guess you would have thought the book will be about the things in this store, i guessed the same but as i said the stories were different.
The store (no, not a grocery store, the magical store) is located in Anchan Bay. which is a imaginary, rubbishly imagined actually, is a village. and then you will find most unusual things in this store, for xample: chocolate cakes made of potatoes and cream, toffee rolled around sugar cane sticks and beetroot ice cream garnished with tomato-chilli jam, yeah like i care what you put in what. and then some things (bad) happen with people which of course our ugly little hero, Nu-Cham-Vu does and then the village people want it (yes 'it' coz it is a monster) to go. but the children don't. and so the battle has begun (well, thats what is written on the back cover of the book, pls someone tell me with who anyway?) i never got a tinge of battle in the book. and yes the front cover reads Ruskin Bond recommended, so?
well, you got to say this book, which is not as long as its title, is written well by Shreekumar Varma. And illustrated by his son Vinayak Varma. Father and son doing work together, hmmm..... good, i can give it: 4 out of 5.

DIAMOND BROTHERS...

I read this book, the diamond brothers detective agency. the book was the funniest book i ever read. this book is about two brothers who run a private detective agency. Nick, is thirteen but more clever than his older brother Tim. Tim is a real stupid guy asking silly questions. This series of books is written by, Anthony Horowitz. the diamond bros books are mystrey books. i read the second in the series: PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER TWO. The book was good.
In this book Nick is put in a jail for stealing a carbuncle from a museum. Actually Nick had not steal the carbuncle but two policemen had accused him of doing so because they wanted him to be in the jail to get some information from public enemy number one: Johny Powers. only three people in the world know that Nick had not stolen the carbuncle: the two policemen, and Nick. To prove himself innocent he has to do the work for these two. but when the two policemen die in a car crash, the last hope of Nick is doomed as well.

MY MEET WITH.........

Hi, i met a author. he was great, I mean we talked with each other.actually he had came there to give a speech but he was surprised when I told him that I write stories. I told him one of my story and he said that it was good and that I should look for a publisher. he and his assistants had organized a book fair and took a signed copy!! it was wonderful, not that his telling that my story is good will help me publish but at least I got some boost. and speaking of publishing I filled a publishing form today, they have written that they will tell me if I have any chance within one week's time. hope for the best!!!!

hello all, today Asterix a little Gaul warrior turns 50. not read this little warriors story? well, its a comic and a funny one as well. Asterix started off as on 29 october 1959 in a french magazine:Pilote. Asterix was written by Rene Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo. Asterix lives in a village. with Roman attacks and things i don't know, coz i haven't read many of his comics. today (provided you are reading it today) released another of his book: ASTERIX AND OBELIX'S BIRTHDAY- THE GOLDEN BOOK. well thats what i wanted to tell. i will write another article on Asterix but for now.......

COMPARISION BETWEEN HP AND PJ.

I am writing my views about these two books, that is HP(harry potter) and PJ(Percy Jackson). no offence to any of these books but many people compare these books. look, these two books are wonderful which are written by wonderful authors. these books are the bestsellers in fantasy novels and nevertheless many people compare them which is wrong. yeah, you can say that there are similarities between them for instance: both Harry and Percy find out that they are someone special or then they are escorted to a special place where you learn magic or- all right sorry i am beginning to compare them.
But my point is that comparing to similar subjects is wrong. every author has different style of writing and if you have read both these books then you will find the difference. my only hope is that people stop comparing books whether they are of fantasy or not. if i have hurt your feelings about any of these books, i am really sorry and i didn't mean to.

MATILDA

Matilda is a book byRoald Dahl. brilliant book. a girl who loves to read but parents who force to watch television. Matilda then plays pranks on her parents and her brother to harras them. there is also miss Trunchbull to handle but her good teacher Ms. Honey supports her. i will give it 4.5 out of 5.

BOOK REVIEW OF THE THREE MISTAKES OF MY LIFE

I read this book: the three mistakes of my life by an Indian author Chetan Bhagat. it was a good book. Three struggling friends open a cricket shop and then starts the story. with facing natural calamities, riots, politics they face. i will give it 3.5 out of 5 because of its huge number of curses.

another new book

I this book FROM THE TWO RIVERS PART ONE THE EYE OF THE WORLD THE BEGINNING OF THE WHEEL OF THE TIME.Whoa man! what a name! this books author is Robert Jordan. this book is about some man called Rand Al'thor and his friends who live in a dull village and then a sorceress named Aes Sdeai who can weild one power comes to their village and then Trollocs which are half human half beasts attack the village and Rand is forced to leave the village and then they face some dark forces. this synopsis is quiet long but the book is action packed story. i think it will do with 4 out of 5.

NEW BOOK I READ

Hi, i read this book the squires tales. and i really liked it. i mean you should try it out. it is about a knight called Gawen and his squires adventures. and this squire, now what was his name? Yeah Terrence and he is from a magical land and there are battles and things in this tale. i think if you saw one anywhere you should pick it up. i give it a 4.5 out of 5 so i guess that's good.
